A tribute song to John Carpenter's eye opening film from 1988 called They Live starring Roddy Piper in the lead roll.

This song was originally recorded as part of a failed project that I attempted in 2010 called 12 4 12. The idea was to produce one song per month over the course of the year.

I ended up bailing out after about 5 months because I was consistently leaving myself a day or two towards the end of the month to rush out a production, which wasn't serving the songs very well.

The 3 songs that I published here are the sole survivors of the effort, each one was newly written, recorded and mixed within a tiny window of time, so with that in mind they serve as an interesting reminder of the project and I believe each one has it's own merits.

The surviving songs from 12 4 12 are:

They Live (recorded in May 2010)
International Sensation (recorded in march 2010)
Take the Bed (recorded in April 2010)
